3rd generation of partnership between WMD and I.R.I.S. is started - WMD integrates I.R.I.S. document reading module as an OEM component into the xFlow-Suite for SAP-based process automation

Aachen/Ahrensburg, March 2010. The combination of the WMD solutions with the portfolio of I.R.I.S. AG (formerly Docutec AG) ensures customers complete DMS and workflow solutions from one source to ensure a long term high investment and a rapid ROI for years now. The successful partnership between the two companies is again enlarged through the recently agreed, extended cooperation in the field of document recognition. WMD will embed the I.R.I.S. process components ScanClient, document reading and capture client into its core product xFlow as OEM variants even more profoundly. For this reason all necessary process steps are fully under the control of WMD-own applications, making the overall solution completely integrated into SAP.

In this context, WMD integrated the IDR Toolkit of I.R.I.S. AG and the OEM version of the I.R.I.S. PowerScan with the aim to map the business processes in SAP environments still more efficiently and to put the handling of the WMD xFlow© Suite holistically under the control of SAP. The components in detail are: the IDR toolkit, based on the XAnalyze component of IRISXtractTM platform, the WMD capture technology within SAP and the IRIS PowerScan as a professional application for the control of document readers in the appearance of WMD.

Besides the established solution scenarios, based on the IRISXtractTM platform for numerous corporate and commercial processes - such as personnel file, supplier file, advice notes and vendor invoice processing - WMD expands and depresses the integration capabilities into the SAP system environment sustainably.

WMD’s xFlow offers a flexible, basic workflow solution in SAP Standard - an open-ended solution with optimal integration capabilities. What makes it really special is that it combines many different performance features and functions from practical applications. The
basic functionalities for all conceivable work processes are managed in just one place at the centre of the IT environment.

"Past investments of WMD can thus be fully reused, which means a significant investment protection," explains Frank Tiedt, Partner Sales Manager at I.R.I.S. AG, one of the main advantages of the solution. Focus is the consistent use of WMD know-how in the new system architecture for the customer’s environment. First, the Solution Package Accounts Payable will be applied, which has proven already in previous joint process experiences within the field of automated invoice processing.

WMD-CEO Andreas Karge is excited about the enhanced partnership with I.R.I.S. Both companies signed the contract at IRISLink 2010, the annual convention of I.R.I.S. in Brussels. Within this event, WMD got the award as the largest VAR-partner of I.R.I.S. AG.
