WMD Benelux participates in the initiative of a local Dutch foundation known as "Stichting Waarborg E-factureren" June 2010 - WMD Benelux was selected to participate in the initiative of a local Dutch foundation known as "Stichting Waarborg E-factureren" (Foundation for the promotion of E-invoicing), which strives to promote knowledge and adoption of e-invoicing and finance process automation. The latter is achieved by independently verifying that the member organizations adhere to the agreed principles.  The "Hallmark E-invoicing" is designed for organizations that send large volumes of invoices and who wish to persuade their customers to switch to e-invoicing and/or automate their financial and accounting processes. The "Hallmark E-invoicing" is also designed for organizations whose business solutions and services are in the field of e-invoicing: vendor invoice service and solution providers such as WMD Benelux, banks, online e-invoicing packages, accountants, consultants, accounting packages and credit management organizations.
The "Hallmark E-invoicing" focuses on 3 groups namely organizations who have adopted e-invoicing to decrease operational costs and increase efficiency, end customers using a variety of e-invoicing and/or e-billing solutions and services, and businesses who focus on delivering solutions and services in the field of e-invoicing and / or invoice processing automation.
Governing principles of the "Hallmark E-invoicing":
- Transparency on whom your are doing business with
- Equality between paper- and electronic invoices (EDI, PDF invoices sent via email, etc.)
- Confidentiality and privacy
- Always have access to your invoices, incoming or outgoing
- Resolving complaints and disputes
- Support during audit and controlling
- Assistance with international invoices
