Extraction, ERP-, Archive- and Workflow Systems
The first stage of an integrated workflow solution, e.g. fully automated invoice reading, is the scanning of the document, followed by data extraction and classification. The data can then either be filed with the original image in an archive or be forwarded to an ERP or finance &
accounting system (FiBu), as the case may be. No matter what system is used, an automatically captured document is produced with a link to the corresponding document in the archive. Documents captured in this way can then be processed in any workflow. Additionally other input channels can be easily integrated as well, such as EDI or any XML format.
What does WMD xFlow Interface actually do?
xFlow Interface is a system interface that was specially developed by WMD to facilitate linking-up with data extraction, ERP-, archive- and workflow systems. The WMD interface is thus an integral element in efficient business processes like invoice reading, quality management, order processing or other processes specific to particular projects.
xFlow Interface is able to process any input and output interfaces as well as field catalogues within a range of different scenarios. A scenario can represent a "client" or an application-specific configuration. xFlow Interface can run all scenarios and configurations in parallel and monitor these centrally. Further processing routines, such as PDF conversion, are available within WMD xFlow Interface.
